Sao Moua: Overcoming Tragedy to Reach the Stars!

Sao Xob Moua was born in Laos in 1973, and immigrated to Thailand with his family in 1975 after the Vietnam War. Xob’s family was sponsored to come to the United States in 1979. He went on to study theater arts at Humboldt State University and later transferred to Sonoma State University, where he changed his major to liberal studies with the goal of becoming a K-12 teacher. Xob transferred to Sacramento State University to continue his studies in liberal studies and education. After his accident, Xob was able to overcome his disabilities and become a successful actor, inspiring others with his resilience and perseverance.
